Center for Regional Studies fellow examines how Latine writers shape their communities

The Center for Regional Studies (CRS) welcomed its new postdoctoral fellow Jorge Hernández. His one-year appointment will be spent developing his manuscript Corazones Urbanos: Critical Literary Regionalism and Southwest Cities. The new manuscript expands on his dissertation into a full-length book examining how Mexican American writers articulate and critique the transformations of their communities.
