Community-Based Research Initiative
The Center for Regional Studies (CRS) in partnership with the College of Arts & Sciences announces a community-based research initiative. This initiative will financially support two community-based research projects up to $30,000 each for one fiscal year. Evaluations of proposals will be made by a review committee using a detailed rubric. As always, the award is dependent upon the availability of funds each year.
CRS invites project proposals engaging with a New Mexico or Southwest community that works to develop or assist with practical and real-life solutions to the challenges facing peoples in the twenty-first century. The project should be co-directed by a faculty member from a department or program in the College of Arts & Sciences along with a community-based partner or partners.
The community-based research project must coincide with CRS's mission. Please read the call for proposals and application packet for more details.
